• After ranking and reviewing a broad list of Japan stocks, we found the following 18 companies with favorable scores based on our multi-factor model as well as having very good absolute and relative trends. As a reminder, stocks with scores above 3.1 are considered longs. Our model has a heavy weighting on the absolute trend of the relative performance of a stock vs. a benchmark, and the momentum of that relative performance. For the stocks ranked in this report, we are using the Topix as the benchmark.
